Bonafide was started in 1995 by Ralph Herlick, former President and CEO. Ralph's many years of experience in the construction industry coupled with his desire for perfection motivated him to strike out on his own.

"I wanted to bring in my own ideas and visions and create a company that kept our customers and their customers satisfied".

From its inception, Bonafide has grown beyond expectations. Ralph started by carrying out maintenance jobs and small remodels for retailers such as Sobeys and Safeway. Today our customer base has grown tremendously and now includes Home Depot, Rexall, national department stores, financial service offices and other retail and commercial clients.

Jeff Herlick started working for Bonafide more than 20 years ago as a general labourer. Jeff had a goal to grow Bonafide and assist our customers in more than just their maintenance needs. He began taking on larger renovations, and working with our clients as General Contractor, managing large scale projects with many tradespeople. Through the years he has taken his vision to a new level that have led him to his current role of President & CEO.
